Jenny Orchard

Jenny OJenny Orchard is a well known ceramic artist and a lecturer based in Australia, who gained her Masters degree at Sydney College of the Arts in 2006, and has been actively  exhibiting since 1981. Her works are mostly  collected in Australia but also in Japan, England and America. Commissions include Sculpture by the Sea (2009-2011) Ceramic Murals for hotel in Arlington USA and  Harborside in Australia. She maintains a studio practice in Sydney. Her work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia and many State and Regional galleries.

Jenny’s work is featured in publications such as  Animals in Clay by Lark Books, Ceramic Art and Perception, Contemporary Ceramic Art in Australia and New Zealand by Janet Mansfield, Craftsmen House. Reviews of her works can be read in Sydney Morning Herald (2011),  Indian Ceramic Quarterly Volume 4, and a the in Canberra Times.
